Two Exhibitions in the Stutz Art GallerY in APRIL

Conjunction: Illustrating the Narrative
This show features artworks from graduating seniors within the Drawing and Illustration Department at Herron School of Art and Design. Participating artists include Beth Babbs, Melissa Capriglione, Megan Coffel, Marissa Cohen, Aaliyah Garrett, Alyssa Hoover, Alisha Martin, Sam Robb, Sara Todd, and Dara Zuckerman.
Sono Ignis: Thesis Exhibition Of Elizabeth J. Sciore-Jones
"Sono Ignis" translates as sound fire, with a deeper semiotic meaning of bells pealing, and burning light. This installation works to connect our physiological awareness to humanity's collective primal origins by utilizing video and sound to create a sensory experience. The Stutz Artists Assocation hosts First Fridays monthly at the
Stutz Business Center in downtown Indianapolis. Visit with the artists,
ask questions, discuss commissions or just enjoy the buzz of creativity
that pervades this Indiana artistic enclave. The artists' studios are often
open from noon - 5:00 pm the first Friday of every month.
How To Find Us
The main entrance to the Art Gallery and the Stutz artists studios is located in Blackhawk Alley which is accessible from West 10th Street (midway between Senate and Capital) and from Capital Avenue (midway between 10th and 11th Street). See the Google map below or get driving directions.
